Megyn Tuttle
BLS/ ACLS Instructor
Megyn is a certified flight paramedic with eight years of experience in emergency medical services. She brings three years of teaching experience in continuing education and EMT programs, where she is passionate about developing confident, capable providers.
Currently pursuing her Bachelor’s degree in Nursing, Megyn is committed to advancing her clinical knowledge and expanding her impact in patient care. Her long-term goal is to become a nurse midwife, with a focus on improving access to high-quality obstetric care in rural communities.
Outside of her professional work, Megyn is a devoted wife and mother of two, balancing family life with her dedication to healthcare and education
Shane Hobson
Director Of EMS Relations
Shane is a seasoned paramedic and Fire Chief with decades of experience in emergency services, having served in the field since 1990 and holding his EMS license since 1992. Throughout his career, he has demonstrated strong leadership, clinical expertise, and a deep commitment to public safety.
In addition to his frontline and leadership roles, Shane also serves as a 911 dispatcher, bringing a comprehensive understanding of emergency response from call to patient care. He holds multiple certifications across the EMS and fire service disciplines, reflecting his dedication to ongoing training and excellence.
Known for his steady leadership and depth of experience, Shane is committed to mentoring the next generation of responders and ensuring high standards of care within his department and community. His career reflects a lifelong dedication to service, professionalism, and making a meaningful impact when it matters most.
Cody Mealer
BLS Instructor
Cody is an experienced fire and EMS professional currently serving with two fire departments, including a leadership role as Deputy Chief at a volunteer department. He began his career in fire and EMS during high school, demonstrating an early commitment to public service and emergency response.
With years of hands-on experience, Cody has developed strong operational knowledge and leadership skills, supporting both day-to-day response and departmental growth. He is dedicated to serving his community, mentoring others, and maintaining high standards in emergency care and fire service operations.
Known for his reliability and strong work ethic, Cody plays a key role in ensuring effective response and team coordination in high-pressure situations. His continued commitment to training, leadership, and service reflects his passion for protecting others and strengthening the communities he serves.
