The HSI Stop Life-Threatening Bleeding program teaches participants how to: Assess the safety of the scene. Take standard precautions using appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) Evaluate a person to determine whether they have life-threatening bleeding.

Blood Borne Pathogens

HSI's Bloodborne Pathogens training program includes information that will help students understand what bloodborne pathogens are and how risks of exposure can be reduced for themselves and others

Advanced First Aid

Designed for the person who needs or desires more first aid training than Basic First Aid, but not to the level of Emergency Medical Response.

Emergency Medical Responder (EMR)

The HSI Emergency Medical Response for Non-EMS Personnel training program provides a detailed and comprehensive approach for managing out-of-hospital medical emergencies prior to the arrival of EMS. The program is designed to provide non-EMS responders more depth and exposure to standard first aid training topics to provide richer and more advanced training

Child & Babysitting Safety (CABS)

The Child and Babysitting Safety (CABS) program gives teenagers and young adults everything they need to know for safe and successful babysitting. The program teaches how to get started with a business, working with parents and children, and key safety, caregiving, and first aid tips.

Opioid Overdose Response

This  course presents an overview of the opioid crisis and training on how to recognize an overdose and use different naloxone delivery devices.

Wilderness First Aid

  • Designed for scouts, outdoor enthusiasts, and employees working in remote locations. This course focuses on first aid principles when EMS response is expected to be delayed by more than 60 minutes.

Use And Administration Of Epinephrine Auto-Injectors

Teaches students to recognize the signs and symptoms of anaphylaxis and how to properly administer an epinephrine auto-injector

Emergency Use Of Medical Oxygen

Focuses on administering emergency oxygen to breathing and non-breathing patients.

Pediatric First Aid | CPR AED
